About Alejandro Sarmiento – Eugene Artist & Instructor
From Murals to Paint & Sip—A Journey of Art and Expression
Alejandro Sarmiento is a painter and muralist based in Eugene, Oregon. As the owner of Art With Alejandro in 5th Street Market Alley, he teaches Paint & Sip classes and workshops while showcasing his artwork alongside pieces from local artists.
Largely self-taught, Alejandro has been drawing since childhood and continues to develop his craft through daily practice. His red–green colorblindness has shaped his distinctive use of contrast and intuitive color choices, giving his paintings a vibrant, recognizable voice.
A lifelong martial artist, he brings rhythm, focus, and flow to everything he creates, whether on canvas or in large-scale murals.
